Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and operate products and services supporting Azure Monitor and observability workloads.
- Own feature areas from requirements through development and operational support.
- Build telemetry pipelines, monitoring components, data collection agents, or platform infrastructure.
- Use appropriate AI tools and practices across the software development lifecycle and experiment with them to improve capabilities.
- Collaborate with product management, partner teams, and service owners to deliver customer value.
- Participate in architecture/design discussions and provide technical input on feature designs.
- Improve product and service reliability through automation, monitoring, alerting, and testing.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, performance bottlenecks, and reliability issues.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering excellence initiatives.
- Identify technical debt, modernization, and cost efficiency opportunities and create plans to address them.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, Rust, OR equivalent experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

2+ years experience
Candidates must have at least 2 years of technical engineering experience.
Coding skills
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Rust is necessary.
Collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively with product management and partner teams.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with AI tools and practices in software development is a plus.
Understanding of observability workloads and telemetry pipelines is beneficial.
