What You'll Do
Businesses make critical decisions based on financial models. Yet, the tools for building these models are decades behind, making financial modelling one of the worst-tooled forms of programming. This company is fixing that, building an AI operating system for strategic decision-making, starting with an AI add-in for complex financial modelling in Excel. This is a multi-billion dollar opportunity, tackled by a small team of top-tier engineers from leading institutions and tech firms.
- Ship high-quality code at speed, leveraging the latest AI models and tools.
- Own features end-to-end, from Rust services and backend infrastructure to the frontend experience.
- Optimise for performance: write fast software, remove allocations, aggressively cache, and fine-tune queries.
- Enhance the core AI agent by improving its harness, tools, and context management.
- Contribute to backend and infrastructure reliability, including low-level bug fixes and CI/CD optimisation.
Who You Are
A demonstrable track record as a top-tier engineer, evidenced by significant impact and technical depth. Proven expertise in AI-driven development: you don't just use AI, you master it for coding, prompting, and model selection. High agency and determination to tackle complex problems and drive solutions independently. Ability to work 5 days a week, in person, from the Hoxton (London) office.

Requirements
AI-driven development
Proven expertise in AI-driven development, mastering coding, prompting, and model selection.
Rust services
Experience in building and maintaining Rust services.
Performance optimization
Ability to write fast software and optimize performance through caching and query fine-tuning.

Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
