About the Role

The Senior Software Engineer – Distributed Systems will focus on building and maintaining high-performance, scalable backend services for distributed storage platforms. The role requires strong experience in designing and developing distributed systems and backend infrastructure, with a preference for candidates familiar with Rust.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain backend services for distributed storage platforms.
Design and develop distributed systems and backend infrastructure.
Work with cloud-native technologies and large-scale production environments.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building or contributing to distributed storage systems or their core components, with a solid understanding of data consistency, replication, sharding, fault tolerance, concurrency, gRPC, Kubernetes, and system design.

Bonus Points

Experience with cloud-native technologies such as Istio, Envoy, Consul, and ZooKeeper is highly preferred.

Requirements

Distributed Systems Experience

Hands-on experience building or contributing to distributed storage systems.

Backend Infrastructure

Strong experience in designing and developing backend infrastructure.

Cloud-Native Technologies

Familiarity with cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and gRPC.

Programming Languages

Proficiency in Rust, Golang, Java, or Python.

Data Consistency Knowledge

Understanding of data consistency and replication.

Fault Tolerance Skills

Experience with fault tolerance and concurrency in distributed systems.
