About the Role
As a Senior C++ Software Engineer, you will develop high-performance systems that help organizations automatically detect and neutralize cyber threats. You will also provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
What You'll Do
You will develop high performance systems that sit at the heart of the platform, helping organizations automatically detect, analyze and neutralize attacks without human intervention. You'll work on modern C++ (C++17/23) in a Linux environment, building low latency, highly concurrent software where performance, reliability and scalability are paramount.
There are also opportunities to specialize in systems programming, performance optimization or security-focused development, depending on your interests, and you'll also work with Rust.
As a senior member of the team, you'll provide technical leadership, taking ownership of features from design through to deployment. You'll lead code reviews, mentor engineers, contribute to sprint planning and technical direction, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
Who You Are
You have strong commercial C++ development experience (C++17 / 20 / 23) and experience of building high performance, low latency systems on Linux. You have a good understanding of systems programming, concurrency and performance optimization. You have some Rust experience, this could be in your own time, and you are happy to use it going forward.
You're comfortable leading technical delivery, mentoring developers and driving engineering best practice. You have a collaborative approach with excellent problem-solving skills.

Requirements
C++ Development
You have strong commercial C++ development experience (C++17 / 20 / 23).
Linux Systems
You have experience of building high performance, low latency systems on Linux.
Systems Programming
You have a good understanding of systems programming, concurrency and performance optimization.
Technical Leadership
You're comfortable leading technical delivery and mentoring developers.
Nice to Have
You have some Rust experience, this could be in your own time.
