About the Role
The Rust Engineer will design and develop firmware and embedded software in Rust for resource-constrained environments. This role involves working with RISC-V and ARM architectures, contributing to embedded OS components, and collaborating on open source projects.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop firmware and embedded software in Rust for resource-constrained environments.
- Work with RISC-V and ARM architectures, including BSP/HAL development and device abstraction layers.
- Contribute to and maintain embedded OS components in Rust.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools and workflows to accelerate Rust development.
- Collaborate on open source projects and maintain clean Git-based workflows.
- Support FPGA workflows including bitstream loading, integration, and debugging.
Who You Are
- Rust development experience.
- Strong background in embedded systems, including bare-metal and RTOS environments.
- Experience with RISC-V and/or ARM architectures.
- Proficiency with device abstraction patterns (HAL, PAC, embedded-hal ecosystem).
- Active participation in open source projects and solid Git practices.

Requirements
Rust development experience
Experience in developing software using Rust.
Embedded systems background
Strong knowledge of embedded systems, including bare-metal and RTOS environments.
RISC-V and ARM experience
Familiarity with RISC-V and/or ARM architectures.
Device abstraction proficiency
Proficiency with device abstraction patterns such as HAL and PAC.
Open source participation
Active involvement in open source projects and solid Git practices.
Nice to Have
Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools for development.
Knowledge of FPGA workflows including bitstream loading and debugging.
