About the Role
The role involves developing a secure and scalable payment orchestration platform using Rust. You will be responsible for building backend services, integrating payment gateways, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance backend services using Rust.
- Integrate multiple payment gateways, acquirers, and banking APIs.
- Build intelligent payment routing, retries, failover, refunds, and webhook processing.
- Implement tokenization, transaction tracking, reconciliation, and dispute management.
- Design secure REST APIs and reliable event-driven workflows.
- Ensure PCI-DSS compliance, data security, observability, and fault tolerance.
- Write clean, tested, well-documented, production-ready code.
Required Experience
- Strong production experience with Rust and async frameworks such as Tokio and Axum or Actix Web.
- Proven experience with payment gateways, payment orchestration, or FinTech platforms.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, message queues, Docker, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with idempotency, concurrency, distributed systems, API security, and high-volume transaction processing.
- Familiarity with HyperSwitch or similar payment orchestration platforms is highly preferred.
