We're Hiring: Rust Backend Developer

We're looking for a passionate Rust Backend Developer to join our engineering team and help build high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Rust.
• Build scalable REST APIs and microservices.
• Develop high-performance, low-latency applications.
• Integrate with databases, messaging systems, and third-party APIs.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of professional experience in Rust development.
• Strong understanding of systems programming and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Axum, Actix Web, or Rocket.
• Knowledge of MySQL and database optimisation.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication, and API security.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Docker and containerised deployments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the FinTech domain (payments, banking, investments, trading, lending, or financial platforms).
• Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
