About the Role

As a Backend Rust Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services while working on high-throughput data ingestion and processing pipelines. You will collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams to tackle complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Rust.
Build and optimise high-throughput data ingestion and processing pipelines.
Improve system performance, reliability, and low-latency processing capabilities.
Develop secure APIs and integrations with enterprise platforms.
Contribute to cloud microservices architectures.
Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams on complex technical challenges.

Who You Are

5+ years of backend or full-stack development experience.
Strong proficiency in Rust (essential).
Experience building distributed, high-throughput systems.
Hands-on experience with Kafka, ELK, Spark, Flink, Redis, or similar technologies.
Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments, and microservices.
Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools.
Cybersecurity, SIEM, or data platform experience is advantageous.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and international engineering environment.
