About the Role
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for building the core backend and distributed systems for an AI infrastructure platform. This role involves making key architectural decisions, designing scalable services, and mentoring other engineers while collaborating closely with various teams.
What You'll Do
Help build the core backend and distributed systems powering the platform. Own critical infrastructure from architecture through production, designing scalable services that support identity, policy enforcement, observability, and AI agent lifecycle management.
Who You Are
5+ years building large-scale backend or distributed systems in production. Strong experience with languages such as Rust, Go, Python, TypeScript or similar. Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, fault tolerance, APIs and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure).
Bonus Experience
- Event-driven architectures, messaging or streaming systems.
- Identity, authentication, authorization or policy engines.
- Security-sensitive or compliance-focused platforms.
- AI infrastructure, data platforms or observability tooling.

Requirements
Distributed systems experience
5+ years building large-scale backend or distributed systems in production.
Programming languages
Strong experience with languages such as Rust, Go, Python, TypeScript or similar.
Cloud infrastructure knowledge
Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, fault tolerance, APIs and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure).
Service ownership
Experience owning services from design through production operations.
Software quality passion
Passion for building high-quality software in fast-moving startup environments.
Nice to Have
Experience with messaging or streaming systems.
Experience with security-sensitive or compliance-focused platforms.
Familiarity with AI infrastructure, data platforms or observability tooling.
