The Software Engineer (AI/ML) role involves working on the search and retrieval stack, focusing on crawling, parsing, and ML systems performance. You will have end-to-end ownership of projects and contribute to the development of new product lines while optimizing core infrastructure.
What You'll Do
As part of a high-leverage team, you will ship across the entire search and retrieval stack, including:
- Crawling
- Parsing
- ML systems performance
- Retrieval algorithms
- New product surfaces
Your contributions will include shipping entirely new product lines from scratch and improving ML inference latency.
Who You Are
We are looking for strong distributed systems and coding fundamentals. Comfort with Rust or C++ is a strong plus, and hands-on experience with low-latency, large-scale systems will set you apart. We are open on seniority, from strong engineers a couple of years out of top CS programs to more experienced hires.
Bonus Points
Backgrounds that tend to work well include engineers from top-tier AI/infra companies or ambitious AI-native startups, as well as quant researchers/quant developers with serious systems chops moving from trading into AI infra.
Compensation
This position is based in Singapore and is on-site.
Requirements
Distributed systems knowledge
Strong understanding of distributed systems is essential.
Coding fundamentals
Solid coding skills are required for this role.
Rust or C++ experience
Comfort with Rust or C++ is a strong plus.
Hands-on experience
Experience with low-latency, large-scale systems is preferred.
Nice to Have
Experience from top-tier AI or infrastructure companies is beneficial.
Experience as a quant researcher or developer is a plus.
