Role Overview
The Senior Software Developer (Python) position is with an elite FinTech firm in Singapore, offering a total first-year compensation of up to SGD $280k.
What You'll Do
- Build and optimize advanced infrastructure capable of processing billions of data points every second.
- Develop high-performance systems in Python while gaining exposure to latency-sensitive, real-time environments.
- Contribute to the design and development of a proprietary high-performance database built from the ground up.
- Work on research-driven engineering projects involving functional programming concepts and technologies such as Rust, Erlang, and internally developed languages inspired by OCaml.
- Improve infrastructure that supports machine learning workflows and enables research models to move into production.
Who You Are
- Strong commercial experience developing software using modern Python.
- A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another closely related technical discipline.
- Experience working in environments where performance, scalability, efficiency, and reliability are critical.
Compensation
Up to SGD $280k total first-year package.
