Software Engineer

Role: Software Developer (Rust)

I'm working with a leading FinTech firm that's looking to hire Rust Software Developers who enjoy solving complex engineering problems and building high-performance applications.

What you'll be working on:

• Building and optimising infrastructure capable of processing billions of data points every second.
• Developing low-level systems in performance-critical, latency-sensitive environments.
• Contributing to the design and development of a proprietary high-performance database built from the ground up.
• Working on research-driven projects involving functional programming concepts and modern systems technologies.
• Improving the infrastructure that supports machine learning workflows and helps bring research into production.

What we're looking for:

• Strong commercial experience developing software in Rust.
• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Experience building software where performance, efficiency, and reliability are key priorities.

Compensation:

Up to CAD $200k + exceptional bonus
