About the Role
The Software Engineer Intern (Embedded Systems) role involves developing software for advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment while working closely with experienced engineers. This position is ideal for fresh graduates or those with limited industry experience who are eager to learn and contribute to real-world industrial systems.
What You Will Do
- Implement machine-side software components for communicating with equipment controllers, sensors and peripheral devices.
- Develop hardware abstraction modules to standardize access to different machine interfaces and device configurations.
- Create equipment simulators and test tools for validating machine software without requiring continuous access to physical equipment.
- Perform machine integration testing, troubleshoot communication issues and document verified interface behavior.
- Support on-machine installation, configuration and functional verification.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in C++, C#, Python or Rust, with knowledge of multithreaded and event-driven software development.
- Knowledge of industrial communication, hardware interfacing, machine data acquisition or equipment-control systems.
- Strong debugging, integration-testing and technical-documentation skills.

Requirements
Degree in Engineering
A Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field is required.
Programming Skills
Proficiency in C++, C#, Python or Rust is necessary.
Knowledge of Communication Systems
Understanding of industrial communication and equipment-control systems is important.
Debugging Skills
Strong debugging and integration-testing skills are essential.
Nice to Have
Knowledge of multithreaded and event-driven software development is a plus.
Experience with hardware interfacing and machine data acquisition is beneficial.
