About the Role

Software Engineers at our company have two core missions: accelerating task creation by building internal tools that increase contractor throughput, and constructing the tasks themselves. Reporting to the CTO, this person will also lead end-to-end agent implementations for enterprise and health system partners. It is a high-ownership role for someone with deep excellence in at least one engineering domain who can take charge of an entire vertical of task-building work. 5 days a week startup hours remote.

What You'll Own

Build internal tooling that increases the number of tasks contractors can produce per unit of time
Design and construct training tasks directly, owning quality and output velocity
Lead end-to-end agent implementations for enterprise and health system partners, from scoping through delivery
Take ownership of a full division of engineering task-building aligned to your area of specialization
Collaborate directly with the CTO and founding team on architecture and system decisions

Must-Have

At least one year of full-time software engineering experience; open to strong candidates below or above the 1 to 5 year range if they can demonstrate the required depth
Deep, demonstrable excellence in at least one engineering specialty far beyond the general level, such as system design, DevOps, machine learning engineering, Rust, algorithms and optimization, or end-to-end full-stack development
Solid engineering fundamentals alongside the area of specialization
Ability to produce tasks under time constraints, delivering meaningful output within a defined window rather than spending weeks on a single unit
Undergraduate degree from IIT, NIT, IIIT, or BITS Pilani, or currently employed at a highly regarded engineering organization demonstrating equivalent caliber
Genuine commitment to a 996 work schedule (9am to 9pm, six days a week); this is a startup-pace role and the expectation is non-negotiable

Nice-to-Have

Background in a niche engineering specialty with evidence of recognized depth, for example competitive programming, video game engineering, or specialized infrastructure work
Experience building or deploying AI agent systems in production
Prior startup experience operating without a defined playbook

Compensation

50 LPA base plus uncapped per-task commission, for a total of 50 LPA to 1 crore depending on output volume.

Requirements

Software engineering experience

At least one year of full-time software engineering experience is required.

Expertise in engineering specialty

Deep excellence in at least one engineering domain such as Rust, system design, or machine learning is essential.

Solid engineering fundamentals

A strong foundation in engineering principles is necessary.

Task production under constraints

Ability to deliver meaningful output within defined time constraints is crucial.

Relevant undergraduate degree

An undergraduate degree from a prestigious institution or equivalent experience is required.

Nice to Have

Niche engineering background

Experience in specialized areas like competitive programming or video game engineering is a plus.

AI systems experience

Experience in building or deploying AI agent systems in production is beneficial.

Startup experience

Prior experience in a startup environment without a defined playbook is advantageous.
