About the role
We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join a fast-paced engineering team.
You'll play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing high-performance backend services using Rust while collaborating with a distributed team of engineers, architects, and product stakeholders.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex scalability and performance challenges, building resilient microservices, and delivering secure, production-grade backend systems deployed in cloud-native environments.
Required Skills
- 3–5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-level Rust development
- Strong understanding of Rust's memory safety, ownership model, concurrency, and performance optimization
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend applications
- Strong experience developing and deploying microservices
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and service communication patterns
- Experience designing, implementing, and documenting secure RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of API versioning, authentication, authorization, and API best practices
- Experience optimizing backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Hands-on experience with profiling, benchmarking, observability, and performance tuning
- Understanding of caching, load balancing, horizontal scaling, and sharding strategies
- Strong experience with Docker
- Experience deploying and managing applications using Kubernetes
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure, networking, storage, databases, and auto-scaling
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in distributed engineering teams.

- Experience delivering production-scale backend systems

Requirements
Rust development
