About the Role
Decentriq builds the privacy-preserving infrastructure that lets advertisers, retailers and publishers collaborate on first-party data for audience targeting and campaign measurement — without exposing their underlying data. Headquartered in Zürich, we’re trusted by industry leaders such as RTL Ad Alliance, Publicis Media, The New York Times and major Swiss banks. We’re helping define how data collaboration works in a privacy-first world.
Our web application is the primary interface to this platform. Built with React, TypeScript, GraphQL and Joy UI, it lets customers configure secure data jobs, explore results, activate audiences to every major destination and trigger ML workflows with a single click.
This isn’t another CRUD-over-an-API frontend role. You’ll build interfaces that verify cryptographic attestation evidence directly in the browser using Rust and WebAssembly, orchestrate long-running secure computations while keeping the UI responsive, turn differentially private data into interactive visualizations and build on top of our growing 60+ component design system.
We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Frontend Engineer (≥80%, start ASAP) who wants to own these kinds of engineering challenges end-to-end in a hybrid, on-site role in Zürich.
What You'll Do
- Own features end-to-end: Design, build and ship full-featured client-side applications with React and Joy UI — responsive, polished interfaces backed by a mix of GraphQL and REST APIs.
- State management for interactive data applications: Tackle complex state-management challenges in a modern, data-intensive environment.
- Client-side data processing & visualization: Implement and optimize advanced client-side data processing directly in the browser.
- AI-powered productivity: Leverage LLM-based code assistants, design generators and test-automation tools to move faster and raise the quality bar.
- Collaborate across the company: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with design, product and engineering.
Who You Are
- (Must have) Bachelor (or higher) Degree in CS or similar and 3+ years of professional experience.
- (Must have) Good communication skills with fluency in English.
- (Must have) Extensive experience in TypeScript, React, CSS3 and HTML5.
- (Must have) Based in or willing to relocate to Zürich (3 days/week on-site).
- (Must have) Proven record of building data-heavy UIs that stay responsive through smart state management and memoisation.
- (Plus) Experience with web applications involving heavy data processing (e.g. wasm) and visualization (e.g. D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts).
- (Plus) Technical leadership experience.
- (Plus) Willingness to pick up some Rust for simple backend changes.
