Backend Rust Developer

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with Head of Development and the core team to design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Stakit platform.

Implement, optimize, and scale Web3 features using Rust for performance-critical operations.

Integrate Bitcoin transaction functionality and ensure reliable handling of on-chain operations.

Troubleshoot, debug, and fix existing bugs while improving code quality, security, and performance.

Participate in architectural discussions, provide technical input, and propose innovative solutions for Stakit's platform growth.

Stay up-to-date with evolving blockchain technologies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Layer-2 solutions, and more) and identify ways to leverage them in Stakit.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Rust with a track record of building production-level applications (2+ years’ experience preferred).
• Proficiency in Backend Work with a track record of building production-level applications (5+ years experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of Bitcoin transaction flows and familiarity with blockchain protocols, cryptographic fundamentals, and UTXO-based systems.
• Experience implementing and maintaining Web3-related services (e.g., wallet integrations, smart contracts, or bridging solutions).
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database systems.
• Hands-on experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
