Software Engineer (.NET & JavaScript)

About The Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer with solid experience in .NET and JavaScript. Someone who has moved past the basics and is ready to work on real-world, complex systems with meaningful autonomy.

You'll contribute across two fronts. First, you'll partner with our US-based clients to build cutting-edge solutions for their industries, including migrating large, complex JavaScript systems into a modern .NET stack and contributing to AI-powered automation that dramatically improves back-office efficiency and accuracy.

What makes this role genuinely rare is the second front: you'll be joining at the ground floor of an internal product we're building in stealth. This is an enterprise-grade platform in the AI space, designed to help organizations measure developer and team productivity, track AI agent usage, maintain compliance-ready audit records, and monitor AI agent activity across their environments. It touches cutting-edge territory: real-time data pipelines, cloud-native infrastructure, LLM integrations, policy engines, and tamper-evident audit systems, all built with a high-throughput, modern tech stack.

Our client has expressed that they envision us as a long-term partner, with a clear path toward future equity participation. We intend to share that internally with our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside exceptional talent: an ex-Microsoft engineer (20+ yrs), currently working in the largest healthtech/fintech company in the USA, with prior experience at one of the world's top three AI labs. A Director of DevOps (10+ yrs) who helped grow a tech company from 4 to 40 employees, and who has architected systems serving millions of users with modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.

In the first year, you'll be part of a core team of up to 6 people. This is a rare chance to join at the early stage, with a direct role in shaping the product, culture, and technology direction. As we grow, we will be hiring across seniority levels, giving you the opportunity to grow into a senior or lead position and help mentor those who come after you.

What you'll do

• Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable applications using .NET (C#) and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Contribute to JavaScript-to-.NET migrations on large, production-grade systems
• Work on a stealth internal product: real-time data ingestion pipelines, policy engines, AI agent monitoring, and cloud-native audit infrastructure
• Integrate with LLM APIs, network-level proxies, and enterprise identity systems
• Collaborate with DevOps and Senior Engineers to build robust, secure, and high-performance systems
• Work in a startup-like environment with rapid iteration, genuine ownership, and strong impact

What we're looking for

• Solid experience in .NET development (C#), with the ability to work independently on features end-to-end
• Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP also welcome)
• Comfort working with streaming data, APIs, and distributed systems concepts
• Curiosity about AI systems, LLMs, and developer tooling
• Strong problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, and a bias for clean, maintainable code
• Rust exposure is a bonus, not a requirement
