About the Role

As a Senior Python Developer, you will work on cutting-edge technology in AI and cyber security, developing a Greenfield platform to combat AI-driven cyber threats. You will collaborate with a talented team to create high-performance backend services while also having the opportunity to work with Rust and other modern technologies.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Python Developer within the R&D team, you'll play a key role in the development of a Greenfield platform designed to defend against emerging AI powered attacks. Working in a highly collaborative engineering environment, you'll take ideas from rapid prototypes through to robust, production ready systems, helping to shape both the product and the underlying technology.

You will primarily develop high-performance backend services in Python, while also having the opportunity to work with Rust and other modern technologies, choosing the right tools to solve complex engineering challenges. The role offers plenty of scope for technical ownership, innovation and continuous learning within a fast paced R&D environment.

Who You Are

You have advanced Python, backend software engineering experience and advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills. You enjoy learning and picking up new technologies, and have experience with AWS, Azure or GCP. You also have some experience with Rust, Typescript and/or C++, and a strong knowledge of software engineering best practices. A degree in a STEM discipline is required.
