About The Team & Mission

The System Framework Engineer at 42dot will design and develop a common system framework for applications and services in SDV. This role involves implementing and optimizing core frameworks such as standard interfaces, resource management, distributed messaging, lifecycle management, and fault tolerance.

Responsibilities

Design and develop the system framework for Pleos Vehicle OS.
Optimize, maintain, and ensure the quality of the system framework for Pleos Vehicle OS.

Qualifications

Experience in middleware/framework development on Linux-based platforms (Tizen, AGL, GENIVI, CCOS, WebOS).
Programming experience in Rust or C, C++.
Understanding of distributed systems and real-time data processing.
Familiarity with messaging frameworks (DDS, GRPC, Some/IP, MQTT, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the Rust programming language.
Experience with DDS (Data Distribution Service) or Zenoh.
Proficient in system profiling and debugging.
Experience in distributed system software development.

Requirements

Middleware Development

Experience in middleware/framework development on Linux-based platforms.

Programming Skills

Proficiency in Rust or C, C++ programming languages.

Distributed Systems Knowledge

Understanding of distributed systems and real-time data processing.

Messaging Frameworks

Familiarity with messaging frameworks like DDS, GRPC, Some/IP, MQTT.

Nice to Have

Rust Experience

Experience with the Rust programming language is preferred.

DDS Knowledge

Experience with DDS (Data Distribution Service) or Zenoh is a plus.

Profiling Skills

Proficient in system profiling and debugging.
