The Opportunity
Depending on your experience, you may:
- Build high-throughput, low-latency backend systems
- Develop large-scale web-crawling and data-ingestion infrastructure
- Optimise distributed systems processing billions of documents
- Take ownership of core technology and build it from the ground up
What They’re Looking For
Over 4 years of strong software engineering experience
- Hands-on expertise with C++, Rust or another high-performance language
- Experience building performance-critical, distributed or large-scale systems
- Strong knowledge of concurrency, networking, systems optimisation or data infrastructure
- Experience in low-latency trading or HFT environments would be highly relevant
Candidates from HFT, proprietary trading, big tech, AI infrastructure, search, databases, cloud platforms, cybersecurity or other performance-focused engineering environments are encouraged to apply.
Nice to Have
- Strong infrastructure experience, particularly with Kubernetes
- Experience building web-crawling or large-scale data-ingestion systems
- Previous experience in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment
- Exposure to browser technologies, TypeScript or Playwright

Requirements
C++ expertise
Hands-on expertise with C++, Rust or another high-performance language.
Software engineering experience
Over 4 years of strong software engineering experience.
Distributed systems knowledge
Experience building performance-critical, distributed or large-scale systems.
Concurrency and networking
Strong knowledge of concurrency, networking, systems optimisation or data infrastructure.
