About the Role

An innovative technology company based in Rehovot is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join its growing R&D team. You'll work on Linux-based embedded systems, developing firmware in Python while collaborating closely with hardware engineers. This is a hands-on, multidisciplinary role with end-to-end ownership and the opportunity to make a direct impact on cutting-edge products.

What You'll Do

Develop firmware for Linux-based embedded systems.
Collaborate with hardware engineers on product development.
Take ownership of projects from start to finish.

Who You Are

B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
3+ years of Embedded Software development experience.
Strong knowledge of Linux (userspace and system configuration).
Proficiency in Python.
Experience working with embedded Linux systems.

Bonus Points

Linux Kernel programming.
FPGA experience.
ORCAD schematics.
C++, Rust or Node.js experience.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science

A B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering is required.

Embedded Software Experience

At least 3 years of experience in Embedded Software development is necessary.

Linux Knowledge

Strong knowledge of Linux, including userspace and system configuration, is essential.

Python Proficiency

Proficiency in Python programming is required.

Embedded Linux Systems

Experience working with embedded Linux systems is necessary.

Nice to Have

Linux Kernel Programming

Experience with Linux Kernel programming is a plus.

FPGA Experience

Experience with FPGA technology is advantageous.

ORCAD Schematics

Familiarity with ORCAD schematics is beneficial.

C++ or Rust Experience

Experience with C++, Rust, or Node.js is a bonus.
