About the Role

Company Description Trackk is an investment platform designed for individuals who are new to investing and those who are curious about building their financial future. Rather than catering only to experienced investors, Trackk focuses on making investing approachable and intuitive for Young India. The platform aims to help users navigate their first encounters with money through a user-friendly app experience. Trackk operates as a SEBI-registered entity, giving users added confidence in compliance and regulatory standards. The team is driven by a mission to align the product with the aspirations, lifestyle, and digital habits of young investors.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high-performance backend services primarily in Rust.
Build asynchronous, event-driven systems with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
Design scalable distributed systems for real-time market data and trading.
Optimise applications for latency, throughput, CPU, and memory efficiency.
Design APIs and internal communication layers.
Collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams.
Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.

Required Skills

2+ years of hands-on production Rust experience.
Deep expertise in Rust language features with the ability to write idiomatic, performant, and production-grade Rust code.
Experience with Go-lang is preferred.
Strong expertise in async programming, concurrency, channels, synchronisation primitives, and multithreading.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, system design, scalability, caching, fault tolerance, and high availability.
In-depth knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, with strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL.
Strong understanding of networking and communication protocols.
Excellent debugging, performance tuning skills in Linux.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

Experience with ClickHouse or other analytical databases.
Hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux.
Experience building trading, fintech, or other low-latency backend platforms.
Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems.

Requirements

Rust experience

2+ years of hands-on production Rust experience is required.

Distributed systems knowledge

Strong understanding of distributed systems, system design, and scalability is essential.

SQL and NoSQL expertise

In-depth knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, is necessary.

Asynchronous programming

Strong expertise in async programming and concurrency is required.

Nice to Have

Go-lang experience

Experience with Go-lang is preferred.

Analytical databases

Experience with ClickHouse or other analytical databases is a plus.

Low-latency platforms

Experience building trading or fintech low-latency backend platforms is beneficial.
