About the Role
Job Description
We're rebuilding computing from the ground up: the hardware, the software, and the interactions between them. This is a playground where nothing is siloed, and everyone gets to dive into a bit of everything. Every role here helps shape something no one has built before.
What we're looking for
- We want the best talent, whether or not you have a college degree (students welcome)
- Comfort working across the stack, from low-level systems up to user-facing software
- Strong fundamentals in at least one systems language (C, C++, Rust, or similar)
- Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with operating systems, kernel development, drivers, memory management, schedulers, or building an OS from scratch (even a hobby/toy OS counts)
- Familiarity with the hardware/software boundary: firmware, embedded systems, or bare-metal programming
