About the Role

The Rust / C++ Software Developer role involves maintaining and enhancing applications and user interfaces using Rust and C++ technologies in a leading trading firm. You will collaborate with an agile team, mentor junior members, and take ownership of system reliability while exploring emerging technologies.

What You’ll Do

Maintain and enhance peripheral applications and user interfaces using the latest Rust and C++ technologies, supporting trading operations.
Collaborate in an international, agile team of like-minded professionals.
Work closely with senior engineers to explore emerging technologies and best practices, designing and integrating improvements to expand system capabilities.
Take ownership of production support and ensure system reliability.
Mentor and guide junior team members, shaping the future of the team.

Who You Are

Software development experience, with strong exposure to Linux environments.
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
Proven expertise in writing clean, efficient Rust code. C++ an added bonus.
A genuine passion for financial markets and blockchain technologies.
Experience building reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with a drive to deliver elegant solutions.

Bonus Points

Knowledge of multithreading, web protocols (WebSocket, RESTful), or high throughput/low latency systems.
Experience mentoring and developing engineers.
