Responsibilities
- Design and implement efficient, flexible solutions that can scale for mission critical applications.
- Active in all aspects of the development lifecycle, including planning, requirements development, software design, implementation and build, documentation, testing, deployment and maintenance.
- Apply software standards and processes to produce high quality, extensible, and maintainable software solutions.
- Work with cloud tech stacks to perform data extraction, manipulation, transformation; visualization of geospatial-temporal data sets.
- Develop analytics/derivative data products to help users extract meaningful knowledge.
- Proactive approach to trouble shooting and problem-solving issues.
- Collaborate with diverse teams of engineers, clients, and users.
Minimum Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance (willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Rust, or similar).
- Experience developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
- Familiarity with Linux development environments.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or AWS C2S.
- Exposure to containers and containerization technologies such as Docker; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience working with data processing, analysis, or visualization.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-native software products that transform large-scale geospatial data into actionable intelligence and mission-critical insights.
- Experience working with NoSQL data stores such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship
You must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor's Degree
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
Software Development Experience
2-5 years of professional software development experience is necessary.
Modern Programming Language
Experience with at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or Rust is required.
Cloud Platforms
Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS is essential.
Nice to Have
Experience in designing and deploying AI-native software products is a plus.
Familiarity with NoSQL data stores such as Elasticsearch or MongoDB is preferred.
