Our systems provide data security, server integrity, network access, and secure communications infrastructure. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Platform Security Engineering team, develop systems focused on network safety and security. Collaborate with architecture, quality engineering, service performance, and support teams throughout the software lifecycle to deliver exceptional services for internal users.

As a Senior II Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining existing software and keeping it compliant as well as designing, implementing and testing new features.
• Improving safety, and stability of services; spotting and eliminating problems and risks; writing maintainable and secure code.
• Conceptualizing, designing and implementing solutions.
• Becoming a Subject Matter Expert and assuming ownership of a part of the team's component portfolio.
• Conducting code and design reviews with peers, documenting work for users and team, and guiding efforts toward process enhancements effectively.
• Coaching and mentoring the team members to empower and develop them as individuals and as a cross-functional team.

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• Have solid commercial experience in one or more of languages like Rust, Python, C++.
• Be experienced in working with Linux/Unix internals.
• Exhibit expertise in critical thinking and attention to detail while creating security-focused applications optimized for scalability and performance.
• Have considerable experience with frontend application development, using one or more of the languages like React, JavaScript.
