About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Veo Technologies, you will develop user-space applications in Rust and Python for an AI sports camera running on embedded Linux. Your role will involve shaping the firmware architecture and collaborating with various teams to integrate cloud services and diagnostics.

What You'll Do

You will build Rust and Python user-space apps on our embedded Linux camera, and help shape the firmware architecture and Linux platform. You won't be writing drivers or doing low-level hardware work. Day to day that means Yocto system services, D-Bus and device trees, BLE/Wi-Fi with GATT and Protobuf protocols to our mobile apps, cloud integrations (REST, S3, OpenTelemetry), and diagnostics across a fleet of devices. You will work closely with our AI, video and cloud teams.

Who You Are

Looking for: 5+ years of experience, fluency in at least two of Rust/Python/C, and experience with embedded Linux (Yocto) and BLE/Wi-Fi. MCU/RTOS experience is a plus.
