About the Role
The Platform Engineer at Senzing will be responsible for managing the AWS infrastructure for Placekey, ensuring its operational health and contributing to its future development. This role will also evolve to include internal IT and systems responsibilities, requiring a proactive approach to ownership and problem-solving.
What You'll Do
- Own the operational health of Placekey's stack.
- Close out post-migration hardening.
- Provide input on future infrastructure developments.
- Manage internal IT and systems work including Active Directory and security.
Who You Are
Looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in platform/cloud infrastructure, production Kubernetes, and managed Postgres. You should have a solid understanding of networking and be proficient in Python and Bash.
Bonus Points
You don't need to be an expert on the IT/systems side today, but you should be eager to grow into it.

Requirements
Platform/Cloud Infrastructure
5+ years of experience managing platform or cloud infrastructure.
Production Kubernetes
Experience with production Kubernetes, ideally EKS.
Managed Postgres
Experience with managed Postgres including backup, recovery, and tuning.
Infrastructure as Code
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Networking Skills
Solid understanding of networking principles.
Scripting Skills
Strong skills in Python and Bash scripting.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with IT systems management is a plus.
Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana or Datadog.
