About the Role
About the Role
As a Site Reliability Engineer at Strobe Power, you will be responsible for owning the infrastructure and reliability of our systems that manage distributed power plants. You will work with a small team to ensure the software operates effectively in real-time, controlling physical equipment and maintaining operational integrity in regulated markets.
What You'll Do
You’ll own our AWS environment, the control-room infrastructure that communicates directly with utilities and market operators, and the systems we use to deploy, observe, and operate a growing fleet. You’ll also work closely with the rest of the engineering team to establish good patterns as we ship new services and features.
Who You Are
You’re probably a good fit if you have deep AWS experience, have used Terraform seriously in production, write a lot of Python, and are comfortable working around Rust services. Energy experience is useful but not required (SCADA, DNP3, MQTT).
Stack
Python, TypeScript, Rust, Terraform, AWS, GraphQL/AppSync, MQTT, Grafana. We work in a monorepo designed for agent-assisted engineering workflows and are investing heavily in making engineers dramatically more effective with coding agents.
