As a Member of the Technical Staff on the Grok Product team, you will be responsible for developing user-facing features and APIs for Grok's chat portal. This role involves building scalable systems that enhance user productivity and collaborating with various teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver polished, scalable user-facing features and APIs for Grok's chat experience.
- Innovate on frameworks for rapid experimentation to iterate quickly and keep Grok leading in reasoning and utility.
- Architect high-performance systems for personalized, reliable interactions at global scale.
- Build and optimize data pipelines using real-time user signals to continuously improve the product.
- Own projects from ideation to deployment and monitoring, gathering feedback to refine the seamless portal vision.
Basic Qualifications
- Proactive self-starter who turns bold ideas into high-impact realities with focused execution.
- Expert in TypeScript, Python, or Rust, with experience crafting clean, maintainable code.
- Skilled in scalable architectures, Kubernetes, observability, and production tuning for performance/reliability.
- Track record shipping consumer-facing products to millions, emphasizing user delight and feedback.

Requirements
TypeScript expertise
You should have strong skills in TypeScript for developing scalable applications.
Python or Rust knowledge
Experience in Python or Rust is essential for writing clean and maintainable code.
Scalable architectures
You must be skilled in designing scalable architectures and optimizing performance.
User-facing product experience
A track record of shipping consumer-facing products is required.
Nice to Have
Experience with Kubernetes is a plus for managing containerized applications.
