About the Role
Scale our cloud infrastructure using Rust. We are moving our Go microservices to Rust for better resource efficiency. As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will lead the architectural transition of our core services to Rust. You will design high-throughput, low-latency APIs and data processing systems that power our AI platform, ensuring scalability and reliability at a global scale.
Requirements
Expertise in Rust and backend development
Experience scaling large-scale cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and gRPC
Proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration
Proven track record of technical leadership and architectural design
Nice to Have
Experience with Go and migrating services to Rust
Knowledge of machine learning infrastructure
Contributions to cloud-native open-source projects
Experience with distributed databases and caching
